Although the idea of forming a band dated back to the end of 1987, it wasn't until 1989 that the band became a fact. From the initial line-up (Pedro Carvalho vocals), only two members remained, Luis Esteves lead guitar and Miguel Teixeira bass. At the end of 1989, with some material composed, the band decided to start all over again. This was helped by the addition of Miguel Cristo guitar, who brought more creativity and consistency to the band. They then concentrated on finding a suitable drummer, which wasn't easy. The result of this arduous search was Serafim Carvalho. The fact that they were all students led to successive postponements of the recording of a demo tape. The band's live performance took place on May 29th 1992 in Tondela, followed by Satão and various dates in Lamego, Régua and Moimenta da Beira. At the end of 1992, the opportunity arose to take part in MTM records' double collection, “The Birth of a Tragedy”. They went into
Tarantula's Rec'n'Roll Studio and recorded the song “Motorbreath”, chosen by Hugo Moutinho from a demo rehearsal with three songs. “Motorbreath” came out on the compilation and also on cassette, for promotion.
