From Nazareth came Alarme, consisting of Carlos Cavalheiro vocals (ex-Xarhanga), Altino Borda D´Água guitar, Silvino Pais da Silva guitar, Orlando Borda D´Água bass, and Victor Bombas drums. On July 5th 1981 they were winners on the Só-Rock Festival held in Coimbra, and a year later, riding the wave of so-called boom of the Portuguese rock they sign with Imavox label and released a single with the songs "Desconto Especial" and "Autocarro Diariamente. " The sound of the group was rude and with strong influences from hard rock of the late '70s. They opened in 1982 for Dr.Feelgood and also in Cascais in December 3rd 1982 for Girlschool and Rainbow. They breakup in 1983. The band reforms in 2009.
