STONE EDGE
Stone Edge came from Almada and was formed around 1989 by Manuel guitar solo and Rui Giga bass, under the name Nemesis. Soon after joins Paulo Santos rhythm guitar and Miguel vocals. Afterwards they would changed the name to Stone Edge. At first they began rehearsing with Dark Faith´s drummer until they find João, that at the beginning of 1990 left the band. Songs like "Fly With the Moon" and "Love, Sex and Rock´n´Roll" were part of their repertoire.ABISMO FANZINE/ GUARDIANS OF METAL FAN-CLUB
The fanzine Abismo (Abyss) was the official organ of the Guardians of Metal Fan Club. The 1st issue was published in November 1988. In the 1st year was a monthly publication and to celebrate the first anniversary of the Guardians of Metal, the issue#10 was a special edition with 48 pages (twice of pages the fanzines at the time used to have) in layer carton. By this time the fanzine is subject to disclosure by the renowned British magazine Metal Forces and receives more and more promotional material from bands from around the globe who seek publicity in Portugal. The fanzine becomes bimonthly, but to provide much more information and ends after 20 numbers in late 1991, because the editor Sergio Paulo went rather busy with other activities of the Guardians of Metal and Afterdeath where he was lead singer and manager. Apart from that within a few months he would have to go to fulfill the obligatory military service and would not have time to continue editing the fanzine.

NECRO TERROR
From Sto Antonio dos Cavaleiros, Necro Terror arises through an accident, a joke among some members of Extreme Unction. When, sometime in 1991, a group of friends joined in a rehearsal room for fun, all of the elements enjoyed Grind Core. Of this essay, appeared a series of songs, heavily influenced by Napalm Death, Sore Throat, Unseen Terror, Agathocles, Blood, etc. Later, they decided to take that material, choose the best songs and combine them in a demo, which was called: "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". This work has not been marketed, was passed to friends and interested. However, the demo was circulating freely by lovers of the genre without any control. From this mad afternoon registration test…
